It's after Thanksgiving meaning my favorite time of year: the Christmas Season. I've already started baking thanks to the Eta Sigma Phi bake sale (my geeky ancient languages' honor society). I made ginger cookies and sugar cookies. Um yum. I just sang along with Amy Grant to Silent Night and rolled spicy brown dough in sparkly, white sugar until about midnight. I just got back from KC on Sunday and I saw the first snow of the Christmas season while I was there. It was hard leaving that glorious white world to back here to Memphis. 17 days until I'm home. 17 days until Bridezilla marathons and double ovens with bottomless jars of flour, sugar, cinnamon, and baking powder. 17 days until we no long have to buy wine or hid booze in my attic. Ah glorious. I'm planning on reading a book about Roman history, learning Italian, and memorizing, in chronological order, all the Roman emperors. I will not be distracted by copious amounts of WE TV.
I hung out with Laura, Emily and Diana while Katie was on the East coast eating her deli sliced turkery from her dad. It was nice to see everyone. It is so crazy how much all of us have changed. I can't even explain how we've all changed, but we have. It will be nice when Katie is there over the break. Emily, Laura and I went to the new Power and Light district. Emily suggested going to the place that Katie worked over the summer, but I refused. I mean after your friend works somewhere you never want to eat there again because you're like their mean, I don't support that! We went to Waldo's and had to wait for like 45 minutes. The Power and Light district was swanky though.
I should probaly pay attention to the class I'm not listening to right now.
